Dance Ministry

Living Water Church loves to dance! We've been blessed with both a wonderful dance ministry and church leaders who understand the Biblical importance of dance as a form of praise and worship. Dance is, at its core, a form of communication, and can be used for many purposes in Christian ministry including: praise, worship, teaching, entertainment, evangelism, prophecy, intercession and warfare. We try to regularly vary the style and difficulty level of our dances to allow everyone to participate in our program.

Our vision for Dance Ministry is for it to be a ministry in which people feel empowered and free to worship God in new and creative ways. Dance Ministry is not about “performing” for the church audience, but about expressing oneself in worship to an Audience of One.

To this end, our vision is that one day the entire congregation will participate in dancing together and that those in Dance Ministry will have the confidence, training, and experience to lead the church in this unique form of worship that combines the passion of the heart, the intimacy of the Spirit, and the physical being of the body into one amazing and joyful dance before God.

We are so excited to start this Ministry at Living Water and hope that it blesses both the Lord and His people. Our church has allowed us incredible freedom as long as we maintain a spirit of purity and modesty in our dances and costuming.
